Technical Communications
When someone asks, "Are you a technical writer or are you
a creative writer?" the answer is "Yes." We're comfortable walking down both sides of
that avenue. Here are a few examples of "technical"
publications, training programs, and videos written by Rocket
Ink.
- For Motorola, the script
for an on-line version of their Integrated Dispatch
Enhanced Network (iDEN) training for technicians who
service cellular phone base site systems
- For McDonald's Corporation, a presentation to introduce the corporation's information
systems architecture and standards to its worldwide
divisions and regions
- When a manufacturer of electrical
generation systems for commercial airliners purchased the
product line of another company, it needed to develop
training manuals for service technicians who would
service the aircraft. It relied on Rocket Ink to research
and write the manuals.
- When a California-based training
company needed a training program to teach sexual
harassment prevention techniques, they called on Rocket
Ink. We wrote a sexual harassment awareness training
program titled "What Is No?" for Simulation
Training Systems, Inc., designed for corporate and
government workplace environments.
- When one of the world's leading
providers of aviation electronics (avionics) needed a new
corporate capabilities brochure, we were hired because of
our technical background and our abilities to bring a
fresh approach to the writing.
